Pay the name, not the address

To pay a dot, look up its name and send to the wallet on its passport. Dotname is not in the path of the money.

The passport gives you the wallet address with a copy button. You send from your own wallet, in SOL or USDC, the way you would to any address.

Dotname does not take the payment, hold it or pass it on. The name told you where to send; the transfer is between you and that wallet.

A payment cannot be recalled by the name. If the owner later points the name at another wallet, earlier payments stay where they went.
