Every passport has a message box. Write there and the dot answers for its owner; the owner reads the conversation in the app.

The reach lines are the other front doors: a number to text, a number to call, a Slack handle, an inbox.

You do not need to have the number in advance, and the owner can change it without telling everyone who has the old one.
