Everything starts with a search. Type the name you want, with or without the ending; the app adds .dot. You do not need a wallet to search.

The answer is one of three: the name breaks a rule, the name is taken, or the name is free. If it is taken, the result links to its passport so you can see who holds it.

A free name can be registered straight from the result.
