  1. 01Search a namedirect

A name is three to thirty-two characters, made of lowercase letters, digits and hyphens, with no hyphen at the start or the end and no two hyphens in a row. Every name ends in .dot.

The rules are checked as you type. There is no review and no reserved list beyond them: a name that passes and is not taken can be registered.

Names that differ by one character are different names. The rules do not stop look-alikes, so read the passport before you pay.
